Crystalline Flow

Crystalline Flow is an audiovisual artwork. The main focus of this piece is the deep connection between music and image. Complex algorithms analyze the music and immediately affect the visual system. The visual part is based on mixed media images. The 3d graphic system builds on photography of flowers processed in real-time. This photography was selected from around 500 shots made in the studio or outdoor in preparation for this project. The algorithms were perfectly tuned to create a deep meditational experience and emphasize the link between audio and visuals. This work seeks to expand the concept of new aesthetics by combining organic and synthetic elements into a single construct. Based not on a concept but rather on emotion, the crystal flow immerses the viewer in a mesmerizing experience of contemplation and listening. Music by composer Vadim Mikhailov.
